WINNER OF THE GOLDEN CAULDRON AWARD FOR BEST ALL-ROUND RESTAURANT OF 2009

Now in its ninth successive year, MIGF has consistently garnered the attention and participation of Malaysia’s best chefs and restaurants. The event provides the perfect opportunity for chefs to show off their latest culinary innovations and artistry. Spurred by their success in previous Festivals, this year’s MIGF includes a large number of returning Chefs and Festival veterans.

  1. The Malaysia International Gourmet Festival (MIGF) used to be called the KL International Gourmet Festival (KLIGF), changing names in 2006 to enable restaurants from all over the country to participate (the 2009 edition features Seasonal Tastes from the Westin Langkawi!)
  1. This is the ninth successive year of the MIGF (formerly KLIGF); almost doubling from a total of 13 restaurants in 2001, to 24 in 2009.
